In July of 2016 Matthew and Joslyn Dougherty became the new owners of Steinbacher Enterprises, Inc. after they bought the company from David Steinbacher. Joslyn is the daughter of David. She has been in the business since 2002. She started out by working in the field and worked her way up to managing the office. Prior to starting with the business, Joslyn attended Pennsylvania College of Technology where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Management. She now oversees the company, all employees, and marketing.
Matthew J Dougherty, is David’s son-in-law. He joined the business in 2004 and has worked his way up over the years. Before coming to Historic House Salvage he worked with a couple other companies related to the construction field. Matthew brought his expertise of running equipment and “dirt work” to the business, and has since taken over the day to day operations. He does all the estimating and oversees all jobsites.
David Steinbacher started working in the business with his father in 1971, after graduating high school. In 1986 he became part owner of the business with his brother, and in October, 2002 became sole owner of the corporation. In 2016 he sold the business to Matt and Joslyn. He has since retired. You will at times still see him riding along to look at jobs or stopping by the jobsite.
