A little bit of info on our owners

Steinbacher Enterprises, Inc is a 3rd generation family owned business.  We pride ourselves in the quality and character of our work.  We are proud of where we came from and what we have become today.

In July of 2016 Matthew and Joslyn Dougherty became the new owners of Steinbacher Enterprises, Inc. after they bought the company from David Steinbacher.  Joslyn is the daughter of David.  She has been in the business since 2002.  She started out by working in the field and worked her way up to managing the office.  Before she started out in the business she went to Pennsylvania College of Technology and received her Bachelors Degree in Business Management.  She now oversees the office, the salvage store, and is learning the estimating.

Matthew J Dougherty, is David’s son-in-law. He has been with the company since 2004 and has worked his way up since he started. Before he came to Steinbacher Enterprises, Inc. he worked with a couple other companies relating to the construction field. With him he has brought his expertise of running equipment and “dirt work.” Since he has been here he has learned to read blueprints, estimate jobs and run the work sites. He is a very hardworking and cares about the future success of this business.

David J Steinbacher started working here when he graduated high school in 1971 with his father. In 1986 he became part owner of the business with his brother. Then in October of 2002 he became sole owner of the corporation. He has had many years of training in the business and has brought this business to what it is today. He prides himself on the quality and character of his work.

Steinbacher Enterprises, Inc. strives to better the environment by reusing antique, vintage, and modern building materials that would have otherwise gone to the landfill.
